[AOP contains articles in which I take a critical look at the overreach of the State prevalent in our political institutions today. Ideas have consequences. Articles will explore how we got to where we are to day, focusing on progressivism, all types of collectivism, and people’s willingness to trade liberty for security from the State. In contrast, articles featured on AOP will explore how we can counter the Statism in which we are presently ensconced. The page will present such ideas as nullification, Convention of State (COS), libertarianism, secessionist movements, and Biblical principles about government. Likewise, ideas presented here will focus on economics, drawing on Austrian economics. In other words, this page, takes a revolutionary stance toward the State.]
Below is a link to Mises Institute and an article by Dr. Daniel Lacalle. It is a timely article, and I encourage interested readers to visit Mises.org for more content on economic theory and policy. Mises Institute approaches economic theory from an Austrian economic perspective, building on such theorists as Ludwig von Mises and Murray Rothbard, among many others. Although the focus of the Institute is economics, it offers a thorough critique of the culture and political power from a libertarian perspective

Below is a link to the Mises Institute that will take you to an article authored by Dr. Wanjiru Njoya, titled “Presenting the Moral Case for Capitalism.” In this article, Dr. Njoya sees as foundational the values of personal liberty and private property. She dispels the caricature of capitalism as an exploitive system of greed. The one area in which I would disagree with her regards her position on religion as lacking a foundational ethic and moral for the values she upholds. Absent the eternal verities and the values that emerge from them, the values of personal liberty and private property lack solid foundation on which to stand. Christianity and Judeo-Christian ethics provide that foundation. Dr. Njoya has written several articles for the Mises Institute. Those who take seriously the free market as understood by Austrian Economics should search out all that she has written, including some books she has authored.
